We also offer a service to assess the competence and effectiveness of the Board to ensure its overall functional stability and excellence of performance. This is designed to provide information for the chairman, and allow him to report to shareholders annually.
Active Human Capital’s service is independent and quick and easy for board members to complete (half an hour online) and, when combined with other clients anonymous data, allows us to report on your board’s position relative to others. Over time, as our database develops, we will be able to provide annual tracking of your board’s performance against others within the market, thus providing a strong indication of your organisation’s relative status of governance.
Additionally, an individual report will be provided to each board member providing guidance for any professional development that may be needed. This supports the Higgs guidelines on board training and development.
